What to expect in therapy

A Grounded, Supportive Space

Therapy is your time to exhale. You don’t have to come in with the “right” words or polished answers. This is a confidential space where your experiences, emotions, and questions are welcome. My role is to hold the container while guiding you toward clarity, healing, and self-trust.

The First Session

Our first session is about connection. We’ll talk through what brings you here, explore your history, and begin naming your goals. You’ll also get a sense of my style and how I work. This session sets the tone… we’re building a relationship, not rushing a process.

Ongoing Sessions

Each session will look a little different. Some may feel reflective and emotionally deep; others may be focused on practical tools you can use right away. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe while also creating momentum. I draw on evidence-based approaches, nervous system awareness, and integrative practices that meet you as a whole person—not just a diagnosis.

Collaboration and Growth

Therapy works best as a partnership. You bring your lived experience, and I bring clinical expertise and an intuitive lens. Over time, you’ll start to notice shifts… in how you think, feel, respond, and relate to yourself and others.
